I'll be a very happy returning student to Cemanahuac this June. I'm looking forward to my four week stay in Cuernavaca, my four weeks last June were educational, and inspirational. The cultural excursions were definitely my most favorite experiences. However, I missed the Puebla trip and hope that it will be offered again this summer. I'm a potter and I'd really love to see the pottery in Puebla.

I attended Cemanahuac many times in the past and found it to be very enjoyable and educational. The education I received there has been very helpful in my current occupation as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher. I would recommend this school to others. It's a fun way to learn in a laid back environment.

Being at Cemanahuac was educational, culturally-inspiring, and FUN! Gwinnett County Public Schools had the privilege of being there with Cobb County Schools, the St. Paul Boy's School (fine, well-behaved young men :-), and Las Vegas Schools. It was all good . . . staying in the Fernandez home, studying Spanish with Susana Lopez Paz, (¡Ella es muy buena!) and walking uphill twice as much as walking downhill (well, it certainly SEEMED that way). I'd love to return next year. I hope my Latino students benefit from my experience as much as I did.

I spent three exceptionally happy months at Cemanahuac in the mid-90s as a National Press Foundation fellow.

It was one of the most valuable and rewarding experiences I've ever had. I wish I could do it again.

I was a member of the AATSP group in July 2007 and we had so many wonderful experiences. The families, administrators and teachers were all excellent. I hope Mexico survives and rebounds quickly from the terrible hurricane. I am starting now to design a program for teachers from my district and would be happy to receive suggestions from anyone who has done this. THere are so many interesting programs that I would like teachers from here to experience. Best wishes, Marilyn

Any helpful ideas/tips from previous guests that a new (I REALLY hate to say it...) middle aged guest would find helpful? I'll be attending Cemanahuac June 2008 for a couple of weeks. Any idea on the cost of some of the sightseeing trips like Xochicalco, Teotihuacan, Taxco? What about the cost of the dinner at the former sugar cane hacienda? What type of clothes should I pack for June? Any helpful ideas are much appreciated.

I will be attending the school from June 21st to the 28th. We are ESL teachers from Philadelphia and a School Counselor. Any recommendations before we leave? See you there soon.
